Rosewood, or dalbergia odorifera, is a precious wood that was already used to make high-quality furniture of the Ming and early Qing dynasties. Its Touch is extremely soft because its grain has an unsurpassed finesse. It exudes a slight smell of pear, which gave it its name odorifera. The growth of this tree is very slow, which explains its rarity.
