You have most certainly heard of Chakras, without knowing exactly what it was.
Whether through trade magazines, television shows, meditation guides or even during Yoga classes, we are regularly told about the importance of balancing our bodily and mental energies.
Indeed, to feel good physically and mentally, it is necessary that our Chakras are harmonized.
But how do you do that, knowing that you can't see or touch them?
The term Chakra is a derivative of Sanskrit which means wheel. For Hindus, it is mostly energy centers. They are the very basis of Ayurvedic medicine, which is more than 5,000 years old.
The 7 main chakras are aligned along the spine from the perineum to the crown of the head. They distribute specific and fundamental energy to some of our physical and spiritual senses.
So when everything is going well, the energy flows freely through the Chakras.
On the other hand, in the event of a feeling of unease, depression, stress ... it is certainly that the chakras are out of order and prevent energy from circulating correctly. If there is a significant imbalance, this can promote the development of certain diseases.
You will understand, knowing the main Chakras and knowing how to balance them, allows you to prevent certain ailments and to stay in good shape.
In this article, we will give you the necessary information, a kind of reading grid to understand which area of the body corresponds to this or that chakra, how to detect an imbalance and act on it via the stones and your body parts.
As soon as you have assimilated each of the 7 Chakras and understand which mental or physical disorder it is linked to, so you will know which area to work on.
It exists a large number of practices allowing you to take care of your Chakras: sophrology, meditation, yoga, Qi Gong and many others. Just a short 20-30 minute session a day can help keep your energy flowing and keep you in good balance.
It is now time to discover, in more detail, each of the 7 Chakras.
Location:at the level of the perineum.
This Chakra corresponds to the feeling of self-confidence, security and stability. When everything is going well, you feel calm, secure, and you don't distrust people unnecessarily. On the contrary, if it is out of order you may feel insecure, a feeling of depression or even nervousness.
"I AM, I SURVIVE"
Location:in the belly.
This Chakra is related to pleasure, whether it is through food, sex, sensations or emotions. You are then able to express your feelings freely, you are in a harmonious relationship with everything around you. If you are feeling any unusual isolation, jealousy, anger, or overactive emotion, it is probably out of order.
Location:at the navel.
This Chakra is related to notions of freedom, control and power. Balanced, it allows you to have a good self-image and to be aware of your abilities. If you are rather passive, indecisive, wondering a lot, or in some other potentially aggressive extreme, there is a need to rebalance it.
Location:at chest level.
This Chakra is about love, the relationship with the other. When it is open and the energy is flowing well, you feel able to receive and love the other in return, you have a harmonious relationship. On the contrary, if you become cold, distant, unfriendly, or have an excessive need to suffocate the other with your love, then you have to put it all in order.
Location:at the level of the throat.
It’s about self-expression and self-realization. When everything is working properly you have no difficulty expressing yourself, listening. You live in the present moment and feel like a spiritual force allowing you to face anything. If this Chakra is out of order, you can feel either a blockage, shyness, or on the contrary too much desire to dominate the world, to talk around without listening to others.
"I COMMUNICATE"
Location:between the two eyebrows.
The 3rd Eye Chakra concerns everything related to lucidity, visualization and insight. This is about "seeing clearly", having a good intuition.
If you are confused, if you feel that you are not being recognized for your true value or if on the contrary you live in excess, in an imaginary world, it is time to rebalance it.
Location:above the top of the head.
This last Chakra is related to wisdom, to the notion of absolute unity. His balance is felt by this ability to feel connected to yourself, but also to the world. You are free from prejudice and in a harmonious relationship with everything around you. If you feel isolated, if you have difficulty communicating with the outside world, then you must do what is necessary to remedy this imbalance.
