Bodhisattva Guanyin is a symbol of protection, compassion and love. He is the Bodhisattva of Extreme Compassion and Infinite Love, one of the most popular Boddhisattva in Asia (also called Guanshiyin Pusa in Chinese, Kwun Yum in Hong Kong, Kwannon or Kanzeon in Japan and Kuan Eim in Thailand. ). Its name literally means "Perceives the Sounds (or tears) of the World (or of humanity)".
For centuries, sandalwood has been a precious wood used in traditional medicine and jewelry, for its many soothing and relaxing qualities and virtues. It is of great help in meditation.
