Wengé's wood, also called African rosewood, is a dark wood that grows in the tropical and equatorial regions of Africa. Very durable and resistant, it is often used to make furniture and musical instruments. Freshly cut, the wengé is orange in color, it then rushes to become brown. It symbolizes work, pride and honor.
